Day 1: Nairobi
Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi on your morning or evening flight. You will be warmly welcomed by our representative and transferred to your Nairobi hotel.

Day 2: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, depart Nairobi and travel towards Kenya’s fertile highlands before descending the dramatic Great Rift Valley Escarpment. Along the way, you will see a charming chapel built by Italian prisoners of war during World War II.
Continue across the Rift Valley, enjoying spectacular views of Lake Elementaita, Lake Naivasha and the Great Rift Valley, with Mount Longonot rising dramatically in the distance.
You will pass the impressive Longonot Earth Satellite Station before continuing towards Lake Nakuru National Park. The journey takes you across the vast plains of the Rift Valley, where you may spot giraffes, gazelles and other wildlife.
Arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for lunch and some relaxation before an afternoon game drive.
Lake Nakuru is famous for its birdlife and, historically, its large flocks of flamingos that can create a beautiful pink shimmer across the lake. The park is also home to rhinos, lions, leopards, buffalo, giraffes and other wildlife.

Arrive in time for lunch and relaxation. Later, head out on your first afternoon game drive in the reserve.
