British Shriti Vithlani, her three daughters – Hitesh Luxmi, Meera Krishna and Ratha Asha – and Shriti’s sister Hina Raichura, booked our Kenya and Tanzania wildlife safari, ending with a stunning beach holiday in Mombasa, between September 1 and 11, 2024.
Jambo Stephen! You were recommended to us by your past client Aasha Patel. We took this holiday to celebrate my sister’s 60th birthday. We had a wonderful safari in Kenya and Tanzania. We also had a wonderful birthday celebration at Southern Palms Beach Resort in Mombasa. Great choice of guides, Richard (Kenya) and Gerard (Tanzania). We’ll recommend your tour company to our friends and workmates.

Olivia Theodore and her husband William Theodore and daughter Evelyn booked our 16-day Kenya Tanzania wildlife safari with an extension to Victoria Falls (Zambia) and Chobe National Park (Botswana) between January 30 and February 14, 2024.
Stephen, this is a thank you note from me, my husband and daughter for the wonderful Africa trip you arranged for us. We were thrilled by the magic of bush experience in an unforgettable journey through iconic landscapes and amazing wildlife in Kenya and Tanzania.
The most unforgettable experience was our stay at Chundukwa River Lodge in Zambia. Our stay at the Chundu Cottage, which is set on the banks of the Zambezi River, was heavenly.
Your selection of accommodation is top notch. Your timely response to my emails, never getting tired to answer dozens of questions I kept asking and the useful information you provided was what convinced me I was dealing with a professional safari company. We got full value for our money.
Kudos Stephen and your great Skyview of Africa team! We have been to many trips in Europe and other parts of Africa but this trip Skyview of Africa beats them all. We’ll share the beautiful story we had with you, plus photos, with our family friends and colleagues.

My husband and I had a safe flight to Melbourne. We just want to thank you Stephen and your Kenya and Tanzania safari guides for making our honeymoon dream. It was our first time to visit Africa. You can imagine the anxiety we had when I sent out emails of our planned trip to Africa to several travel agencies.
I narrowed down to Skyview of Africa because of the deep understanding you had on wildlife, accommodation and the honeymoon package you were selling.
Your attention to detail and knowledge of Africa left us feeling at ease as we prepared for our journey. All of your diligent planning and thorough preparation enabled us to have an unforgettable honeymoon. The arrangements were flawless from start to finish.
One of the highlights while staying at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge was returning from our all day safari and finding that our personal butler had set our bubble bath and lined the entire bathroom floor with rose petals. That was a very pleasant surprise after returning from a long day exploring the crater floor.
Bonny and Simon, your safari guide in Kenya and Tanzania, were awesome! They were very professional, accommodating and knowledgeable.
We loved the beautiful beaches of Zanzibar and our stay at Zanzibar Serena Hotel Overall, we had the best safari experience through breath-taking landscapes, nature, wildlife and beach. From island life to big game safaris, we had the best adventure for our honeymoon. It was our first time to come face to face with elephant herds, learn how to track animals, and meet with tribal Masai families.
We enjoyed our privacy and comfort since you provided just the two of us with our own exclusive custom-made 4-wheel-drive safari vehicles, and exclusive meals in the bush.

I have been on many horse riding holidays, including exploring the majestic Victoria Falls on a horse back, but I can say without hesitation that our horse riding in Lewa in Kenya and Serengeti (Tanzania) was the absolute best riding holiday that I have ever experienced! Thank you Skyview of Africa. My wife and I will be back on another wildlife trip through your safari company.
Mike Clark (right) and his friends John Albright and Jack Mariner, from America, booked a 15-day Kenya and Tanzania safari in January 2024.

Stephen, what a magical experience we got in Kenya and Tanzania! Despite our large group, I sent out a late inquiry to your company, after being disappointed by an international travel agency.
I was amazed by your quick and timely response to my emails and the rich knowledge in the best wildlife spots in Kenya and Tanzania and your choice of classic accommodation. You handled everything with great professionalism. The most striking part was you answered every question with great passion, wisdom and knowledge. You assured me that it would be an amazing trip – and indeed it was!
Each lodge and camp exceeded what we expected; accommodation in hospitable 5-star facilities, amazing food with a mixture of African dishes, stunning game drives . . . We saw the Big 5, and much more than we had bargained for.
Your Kenya and Tanzania guides were knowledgeable, professional and friendly. They knew where to go and what to look for, and helped us take some amazing pictures. We don’t know if we could ever go to a zoo again with the same enjoyment.
Kenyans and Tanzanians, including the hotel staff, are the friendliest people you’ll ever meet; “Hakuna Matata” truly is their motto. Thank you, Stephen and your Skyview of Africa wonderful team, for giving us an experience we will never forget. We shall keep recommending your company to our friends and families in America without any reservations.
Michele Carly (far left) and her group of friends and family members from America booked our 15 days wildlife safari in Kenya and Tanzania between December 23, 2023 and january 6, 2024.

Being a travel agent based in Britain, I have travelled to every corner of Africa. It’s the second time to use Skyview of Africa Ltd.
What concerns every travellers is their own safety and that of the money they send to a tour operator arranging their safari, whom they don’t know.
I choose Skyview of Africa a second time because of trust, reliability, they’re fully licensed to operate, their effective communication and knowledgeable tour consultants and guides. They won my heart and trust because I have great respect for people that try their best for improvement and progression.

When my family and I arrived at the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, at lunchtime on July 31, 2023, we’re we were welcomed with immense hospitality from staff at the exclusive Sweetwaters Serena Camp.
Our 3-day stay at the camp was fantastic – due to serene amenities such as the beautiful view of the conservation and Mt Kenya; the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard); camel riding and top notch delicious meals. There was a feeling of a 5-star hotel experience. Our first ever wildlife safari in the stunning wilderness of Kenya was incredible .
He took us on memorable game rides, where we saw the Big 5; including the zebras, giraffes, warthog, antelope, chimpanzees, black and white rhino and ostriches.
Driving across the open grasslands of Ol Pejeta Conservancy, we easily spotted some of the endangered animal species that have been given a habitat here. We spotted Grevy’s zebras and reticulated giraffes.
The most wonderful moment was when we saw a cheetah stalking its prey in the grass.
My children were exited and thrilled seeing hippos lolling in the Ewaso Ng’iro river. we also saw waterbucks , Jacksons heartebeast and other antelopes at the tranquil marsh.
It was a breathtaking moment when we came face to face with a herd of elephants in the bush.
We saw a herd of giraffes which are some endangers reticulated giraffes – a species that is significantly decreasing due to loss of habitat and illegal killing /poaching.
We were taken through the history of the world’s last three remaining northern white rhinos – named Sudan and two females of the subspecies, Najin and Fatu.
We learnt that Sudan , a northern white rhino and the last male of his subspecies died in 2018. He was aged 45.
We saw the surviving Najin and Fatu. We learnt these are the only two northern white rhinoceros remaining in the world. Najin and Fatu live under constant protection from poachers in Kenya’s Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
Finally, our vacation at the reserve was a wonderfully pleasant and memorable experience.
We enjoyed the beauty of nature. Most importantly, my kids, my husband and I learnt about the conservation efforts being made to conserve and preserve our wildlife heritage, the jewel of Kenya.
Overall, this experience can only be truly felt, not described in words. Ol Pejeta Conservancy is a gem that should be on the bucket list of every safari goer to Kenya.
Against the backdrop of Mount Kenya – the tallest mountain in Kenya and second tallest in Africa – and straddling the equator, this little piece of heaven stands out, offering memorable safari experiences, striking natural beauty and large-scale conservation success.
Thank you Skyview of Africa Ltd ,for organising such a beautiful family safari for us. We’ll fly back to Britain with memories of a lifetime.
Eunice Muchiri (second left) and her family booked a 3 day safari to the famous the Ol Pejeta Conservancy between July 31 and August 2, 2023. Second right is Dima, their driver/guide.

Stephen, my husband and I safely arrived back in Hong Kong. It was our first time to Africa and we had a tremendous experience, thanks to Skyview of Africa and the wonderful tour experts.
Everything during our 7 days honeymoon safari in Kenya was very smoothly operated and at a fair price compared to other booking agents. Our guide Richard was terrific and was well educated about the landscape and the animals.
All accommodations at Sweet Waters in Mt Kenya, Masai Mara and other parks we visited were clean, had great service and food. It was a great experience!
In my husband’s words, this “was our trip of a lifetime.” Stephen and your team, kudos for being so flexible and timely responding to my questions. You helped us write a beautiful first chapter of our marriage life.
I will highly recommend Skyview of Africa to my family and friends. Thank you Skyview of Africa for giving us the most magical trip we have taken so far and keeping it within our budget.
Yating Wang (right) and her husband booked a 7 Days honeymoon Kenya safari between July 12 and 18, 2023.

Where do I even start with how amazing our trip to Kenya was courtesy of the detailed planning and professionalism by Stephen and the great team of Skyview of Africa?
My daughter and I did not have to worry about a single thing once we arrived in Nairobi. All of the planned accommodation, transportation, and activities were executed on time with no issues. You selected top notch lodging accommodation. Stephen, you were of great help to us when deciding which tour operator to go with.
During the planning stages, Stephen, you were very timely and responsive anytime I needed to confirm details or ask a question. You were able to help us to customize our trip up front with specific activities we wanted. Our trip ended up being even better than what we had planned.
I knew payments with your company would be safe since you have visibly displayed your licences on your website. You promptly notified when your bank confirmed receipt of our funds.
My daughter and I were thrilled for we saw the Big 5 and MANY more animals. Each day on safari was unique and exciting! Relaxing at our luxury accommodation each evening and falling asleep to the sounds of lion roaring, baboons calling, and hyenas barking amongst a host of other animal
calls . . . was simply amazing. Our driver/guide Richard Kinyua was so professional and knowledgeable on the African wildlife and the spots we had high chances of sighting the animals. We will never forget the memories made on this trip!

Stephen Muiruri, the Managing Director of Skyview of Africa Ltd (right), sharing a light moment with American tourists Susan Lauren, husband Jason Lauren, Rick Berman and his wife Karen McCormick, at Nairobi’s Safari Park Hotel, after successfully completing their 15 days migration safari in Kenya and Tanzania on August 4, 2022.
Stephen, we arrived back home safely. Once again, thank you for your guidance and communication throughout our entire planning, from beginning to end.
We are sharing lots of stories with friends and family, reliving our wonderful experience with you and our trip to Kenya and Tanzania.
We found your company in Fodor’s Travel Guide. From the many tour operators listed in the guide, I selected four tour operators and sent out emails.
Only your company responded and we were amazed by your timely communication and wealth of knowledge on helping us come up with a wonderful safari itinerary.
You gave us full value for our money and we shall be back in Africa!
Susan Lauren, husband Jason, and their relatives, Karen and husband Rick Berman, from Chicago, America, booked our 15 days migration safari in Kenya and Tanzania, which we tailor-made to suit their personal taste, between July 23, 2022, and August 4, 2022.
Our family just returned from the most amazing safari you could imagine! We spent a total of 16 fantastic days in Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia all superbly organised by Skyview of Africa – and our only regret was when it was time to go home!
Having our own vehicle and driver, rather than sharing in a larger group was Fantastic, and gave us complete freedom over the itinerary and timing. Our driver in Kenya was Mackenzie – such an awesome guy, and very generous with his time doing everything possible to make all aspects of our itinerary perfect with absolute attention to detail. Mackenzie’s amazing knowledge of the wildlife, as well as cultural and historically knowledge of Kenya made the trip even better.
We saw all of the big 5 and so much more, and not just saw them, we were within meters of Rhinos, Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Elephants, Buffalo, Giraffe and much more ! Photography is a hobby of mine, and the design of the vehicle, flexibility of having control of the whole vehicle, and having a driver with so much patience and knowledge is the perfect combination for a photographic safari with Skyview of Africa. If we wanted to stay at a spot and watch the hippos for an hour to get the perfect photo – no problem at all!
The Richards enjoying an elephant ride!
Mackenzie became part of our family – he joined us for meals, on side trips, boat rides and when we do our next safari it will defiantly be with Skyview of Africa and definitely with Mackenzie as our driver! We switched to a different driver – Jimmy – when we reached the border to Tanzania and he was also excellent – going out of the way to assist with medical assistance when one of us became unwell – having that kind of support when in a foreign part of the world is priceless. We then continued the adventure to Zambia spending our last couple of days near Victoria Falls at Chundukwa River Lodge where the personalised service of the owners Doug and Gail was brilliant.

Booking a Safari from the other side of the world was a daunting process, and the concept of transferring big sums of money to an account in Africa was a nervous one. But rest assured, Skyview are an excellent and highly professional operator that will deliver 100% on all aspects of the itinerary as promised. Stephen Muiruri – the MD of Skyview, personally responded to all emails within hours, and went out of his way to make sure all parts of the planning process were exactly as we wanted. He called us every few days during the safari to make sure everything was going as per the plan. Accommodation was all so luxurious, meals fantastic, staff all so friendly and welcoming. The combination of all of this made our family holiday safari one that we will never forget. We’ll be back for more, and without a doubt in the world will be using Skyview again for our next adventure! I’ve setup a website to show you some photos of just what amazing wildlife we saw and how close we got! Here is the web link www.safariwithskyview.com
Book your own adventure with Skyview of Africa – you’ll be glad that you did ! I am happy to be contacted as a reference and to answer any queries at all about any part of the process.
The Richards Family from Sydney, Australia – Alex, Tonya, John & Kathlyn – booked a Kenya, Tanzania and Victoria Falls safari between 29th June to 14th July 2017.
We have recently returned from an amazing 13 day Kenya/Tanzania migration safari organized through Skyview of Africa Ltd. What a great experience! It was very important to us to find a tour company that would deliver what was promised at a price that fit within our budget and Skyview delivered! We were able to make adjustments to one of the popular safaris Skyview offers to fit our budget and schedule.
Stephen (the MD of Skyview of Africa Ltd) was easy to work with and helped put my mind at ease regarding the transfer of funds by providing references for me to email. I have to admit, it was a scary thought to wire money to Africa – we had saved for a long time for this trip and I had to be sure the transaction was safe. I feel silly now with the sleepless nights worrying about how everything would work out. Everything that was listed on our itinerary was provided! While at breakfast following the hot air balloon safari we spoke with someone who was upset about her safari – the company she booked her safari through did not provide what was promised. I of course told her for future safaris she should call Skyview! I felt awful for her and relieved that we didn’t encounter a similar situation.
While on safari, Stephen contacted us two times to see how everything was going, that really impressed us – it was nice to see that there are companies out there that really do care about you even after they’ve received your money. I’m glad we chose to go with an African tour company rather than one based in the US; it feels good knowing that our money stayed in the country. We were able to stretch our budget further and were able to afford a much better safari experience for our money. Having our own personal driver/guide really enhanced our safari experience. We didn’t have to take anyone else’s needs into consideration – we had the flexibility to do things our way – there was SO much to see and it was nice to not feel rushed.
Our driver/guide (Mackenzie) in Kenya was at the airport with a sign bearing our name when we arrived. After flying for 18 hours – we were pleased to not have troubles finding him. Mackenzie was a lot of fun and has the best laugh! He has an amazing ability to spot animals while driving, he was very knowledgeable and asked us often if we were doing ok, or if we needed anything. If we wanted to spend 30 minutes watching a lion family enjoy their lunch – we did! He moved the vehicle to get us better photos, and was very helpful in the border crossing into/out of Tanzania. I was sad to leave Mackenzie when we crossed into Tanzania but knew he would link back up with us to finish our safari in Kenya.
The border crossing was smooth – our Tanzania driver/guide was Daniel. Daniel was an amazing guide too! He was very knowledgeable and a phenomenal wildlife spotter. He was attentive to our needs and checked in with us often to be sure we were happy. Both of our guides went out of their way to be sure we saw the Big 5; the Wildebeest crossing the Mara River; we were lucky to have 3 leopard sightings; saw a baby giraffe so young it still had the umbilical cord attached; more lions than I ever imagined seeing; cheetahs and lions enjoying a meal and a cheetah hunt! Simply amazing and we have so many great memories and photos!
All of the lodges/camps we stayed at were exactly as we expected. Everyone we encountered at our lodges/camps were very friendly and genuinely cared about making sure we were happy! I wish there was such a thing as a vacation do over; this trip was one I would do over and over again! Thank you so much to Stephen and the Skyview team for making this trip a dream come true! We are hoping to get to safari again and if we do – we are booking with Skyview!
Judy Sharpe, her husband Steve and daughter Caitlin (pictured above) from Beaverton, Oregon, in the US booked a 13-day migration safari to Kenya and Tanzania with us between 23rd July to 4 August 2016.
Hello Stephen,
We arrived home from our African safari two weeks ago, and my wife and I are still thinking about the amazing time we had! Thanks to you and your team, we truly experienced a trip of a lifetime.
When I first began planning my safari six months ago, I had no clue which outfitter to go with, no idea which company will do the best job at a reasonable price.
And so I started off perusing the websites of the most famous and most prestigious organizers, including (names withheld) from America, as well as (name withheld) from Nairobi, Kenya. As expected these outfitters virtually promised its clients a dream experience but at a cost which was very expensive and excessive, at least to me. Despite the high price, the tourists are put together six to eight in the same safari van.
And then I found your name in Fodor’s- The Complete Guide to African Safaris. The book warmly recommends you as a specialist in PRIVATE safaris for two persons to all the game parks in Kenya and Tanzania, all at a reasonable cost.
Fodor’s also mentioned a number of other companies worth contacting. I did contact several. A few did NOT reply to my queries. That to me was unbelievable. One quoted a very low price, but further research online showed some disgruntled clients who employed them. It is so true in life you get what you pay for. If something seems way out of line, be careful.
What attracted me to you right away was your timely response (within 12-24 hours) of EVERY one of my queries. You were so flexible, informative, easy to work with, and most of all – honest and reliable. Compared to the top drawer outfitters, your pricing came in very reasonable and compelling. I was so happy to see the (name of the American tour operator withheld) van and guests using some of the same safari camps as us. This told me our beautiful accommodations were good enough for (name of the American tour operator withheld) and also their guests paid vastly more than us!
I can affirm that our 12 days in Africa went off without a single hiccup. Your arrangements and selection of camps and safari lodges were perfect. I couldn’t have done it any better! And I am a picky client. Elijah was our guide for the Kenya part of the safari and he was superb – always smiling and happy. He was so flexible with us. I wanted to buy some tea and coffee to give away to friends and family back home. He took us to the biggest supermarket in Nairobi so we could get the best selection and prices. He showed us so many animals. Sometimes, I thought he had telescopic vision because even with binoculars, my wife and I had trouble picking out the animals he spotted while driving!
Your partner company in Tanzania was also outstanding. Our Tanzanian guide Mike helped give us one incredible safari experience. Like Elijah, he can find us all sorts of animals no normal mortal could possibly detect.
In summary, your planning of our ENTIRE 12 days safari came off perfectly! Even the weather was perfect and there were few bugs. My two highlights are the hot air balloon ride over the Masai Mara in Kenya and the two days in the Serengeti, Tanzania. The balloon ride was very expensive, but to be up there over the savannah was the trip of a lifetime. All of the accommodations were unique, comfortable, atmospheric. Food was good too.
The itinerary was perfect for us too: Nairobi sightseeing on the first day, followed by Amboseli for two days, and then cross over to Tanzania. We were picked up at the border and visited Lake Manyara National Park, followed by the super amazing Ngorongoro Crater the next day. We then traveled to the Oudavai Gorge to see the Anthropology Museum (incredible!) followed by two nights in the Serengeti bush in a simple but comfortable tent.
Then Mike drove us back to the border and Elijah accompanied us for 3 nights at the jewel of Kenya, the Masai Mara. We spent another day at Lake Nakuru NP to see the endangered white rhino. On our last day we spent time at beautiful Lake Naivasha before returning to Nairobi to prepare for leaving home.
All in all, this is one of the most amazing trips we took. Thanks to you for making it happen at a price which was affordable. If anyone wish to speak to me about Skyview of Africa Ltd or our experience organizing our safari, I will be more than happy to assist.
All the best Stephen. Hope our paths will cross again.
Dr Andy Lam and his wife, both Canadians, (pictured above) with the Managing Director of Skyview of Africa Ltd, Mr Stephen Muiruri and driver-guide Elijah Mackenzie did a 12-day safari to Kenya and Tanzania between 27th September and 9th October 2015.
Dear Stephen,
Returning to work after a 3 week leave took all my time last week, mostly reading and replying to e-mails. Today is your turn.
We really liked the trip. We were so happy with Elijah (Kenyan driver), Naushad (Tanzania driver) and Doug/Gaella (drivers at Victoria Falls). The Southern Sun Mayfair Hotel was also very nice.
The lodges were amazing, the people so dear, the food delicious, and the tents/rooms very comfortable. The landscapes and animals so beautiful.
Everything just worked great. Please extend our thanks to Elijah, Naushad and Doug/Gaella. We will never forget this trip, and believe me, my father was thrilled, including with the locals and their customs (he was the one doing all the shopping in the Maasai market!). The people we meet everywhere were so easy going that it was very easy for him to experience Africa. And my brother, he was already speaking of “the next time we come”!
Much appreciated.
Judith Varona (right), Security Associate, Global Operations at the UN Women, together with her dad and brother, and their Victoria Falls guide, booked a 12 day safari to Kenya, Tanzania and Victoria Falls between 26th July and 7th August 2015. In the photo is her father, brother and their Victoria Falls guide.
We have just returned to Canada from a 16 day trip of a lifetime arranged by Skyview of Africa Ltd. We started in Rwanda, climbing a mountainside to see the Gorillas. Our guide Kassim was awesome, with a broad knowledge of, and pride in his country. Then it was off to Kenya to see Amboseli, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Aberdare National Parks. Our guide Elijah Mackenzie was simply amazing. He has an extensive knowledge of all the animals and was able to spot many more by just sitting when other guides were just rushing by. He was very patient with us, listening to our wishes and stopping in spots when we wanted to stay longer with specific animals. Next, we traveled to Tanzania to see the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti. Our guide, Santuro, was marvelous. He would drive for miles and miles through the vast lands of billowing grasses to suddenly stop at a tree and point out a leopard or a cheetah.
The passion of these guides for the animals and their respective countries was very inspiring. And finally, Stephen, the Managing Director, who helped us out of a couple of situations of our own making was accommodating and polite, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. We would most definitely recommend this company to arrange a trip for you. They were very flexible in the planning process, reasonably priced and extremely organized, when we put our footprints on African soil.
My daughter, Andrea, had contacted several tour operators but we settled on Skyview of Africa Ltd due to timely and knowledgeable responses from Stephen. His replies to our emails and answers to our many questions were prompt and spot on!
From the left, Steve Scott, Darlene, Stephen Muiruri (Managing Director of Skyview of Africa Ltd), Andrea and Brian at Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi
One of the most amazing and outstanding gesture from Skyview of Africa Ltd was providing the four of us with our own exclusive van and driver/guide throughout the safari. We didn’t have to share or squeezed into a van like we saw with other tourists we met in the game parks. The type of vehicle used by Skyview of Africa Ltd in all three locations was awesome. In the parks, we noticed several vans with three rows of forward facing, elevated seating that did not permit the occupants to stand and move around, and another van, similar to ours, with no permanent roof. A couple of friends of mine, who were there last year, had one of those and they had no shade from the intense African sun, and were uncomfortable most of the time.
But courtesy of Skyview of Africa Ltd, we had the perfect vehicle with the pop up roof that provided full time protection from the sun, while allowing the four of us to easily move around to take photos. Other than our long distance travel days, I would estimate that we spent over 50% of our time standing up in your vehicles. The other nice point was that there was only 4 occupants in our van – just my family. We noticed several other vehicles with 6 occupants and a few with 8!!!!! I guess as an operator, they want to fill the vehicle, however as a tourist, 4 was the ideal number in the Skyview of Africa Ltd vans. The above issues are good selling points for your company, and hints that I would provide to potential clients, if they contacted me. Kudos Skyview of Africa Ltd, we got maximum value for our money!
Steve Scott and his wife, Darlene, from Canada, accompanied their daughter, Andrea, on a honeymoon trip to Africa with her newly-wedded husband Brian between August 30 and September 14, 2014.
We had an unbelievable time in Kenya & Tanzania on our 17 day Safari that was custom-tailored to our specific needs. We saw more wildlife than anyone could imagine, you had to be there or I don’t believe you could comprehend the quantity and diversity of all the beautiful and exciting wildlife that this region has to offer. Experiencing the local friendly culture, especially the children, shows how happy a race can be without all the “extras” that several other countries have. It was definitely an eye opener for my 15-year-old son as well as my wife, myself and my 80-year-young mom.
Having our own private tour guide, Elijah, really made our trip special, he was very knowledgeable about the entire country, always willing to go out of his way to make our trip an unforgettable memory and we had the safari vehicle all to ourselves, so if we wanted to do something that wasn’t on the itinerary we weren’t interrupting anybody’s schedule. We will always have a special place in our heart for Elijah. The food was delicious, the accommodations were varied and always a pleasant surprise.
This was definitely the vacation of “our” lifetime and we felt 100% safe the entire trip. Skyview of Africa Ltd gave us the most bang for our buck compared to the other tour companies I had interviewed. If this type of trip is on your bucket list, I can truly say drop an email to Stephen (the managing director), he exceeded our expectations for an African safari, we were smiling for 17 days and we still catch ourselves grinning from ear to ear showing our friends all our awesome pictures. The most remarkable thing was timely and informative responses and updates from Stephen during the safari planning stages and afterwards.
Marty Menter, a pilot from the US, and his family booked a 17-day migration safari to Kenya and Tanzania between July 11-27, 2014.
During our outings, on morning and afternoon game drive safaris, we saw the “big five”, consisting of lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos (both black and white), and cape buffalo. All were impressive to see in their natural habitat. Added to the big five, were monkeys, baboons, cheetahs, a several cat, mongooses, meerkats, giraffes, zebras, hyenas, warthogs, wildebeests, all sorts of antelope, from the biggest (Eland) to the smallest (dik-dik), jackals, and hippos. We also saw numerous species of birds, including ostriches, flamingos, pelicans, herons, egrets, ibis, marabou storks, cranes, eagles, king fishers, and superb starlings. This is only a partial list of the birds we saw, without specifically going on a “birding” safari.
We took roughly 4000 photographs during our visit to East Africa and Victoria Falls, and upon returning to Montreal have had friends view some of them, both at home and via the internet (friends in Australia, other parts of Canada, and the United States). Many of these photos would not have been possible without the knowledge, help, and excellent guiding of your two representatives, Elijah McKenzie in Kenya, and Mike in Tanzania. We found Elijah, in particular, outstanding, from the moment he greeted us on our arrival at the airport in Nairobi (at close to midnight), until he dropped us off back at the airport at the end of our safari trips, for our departure to Zambia. At the end of our stay in Masai Mara, he went out of his way to make sure we saw rhinos and thus were able to see all of the “big five.” We’ve spoken to other people who haven’t been so lucky. Our farewell dinner at the Carnivore Restaurant, which you arranged for the night prior to our departure, was a very appreciated “goodbye” touch.
Stephen, Marge and I can’t thank you enough for arranging such a fantastic trip, one we will never forget. If we have friends interested in an African Safari, we will certainly recommend you, and Skyview of Africa Ltd. We have attached a link showing a few photographs which show Marge and me at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, as well as a few of the animals we were so fortunate to see.
Chris Mapp and his wife, Marge, (pictured above on the rims of Ngorongoro Crater) from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, booked a safari to Kenya, Tanzania, Victoria Falls, with an extension to Cape Town in South Africa, between October 18-November 1, 2013
Our trip to Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar began as a dream at the top of a lengthy bucket list, and became the most amazing reality in August 2013. Like many people, we didn’t have a clue where to start the planning process, so spent about 6 weeks researching options. We settled on Skyview of Africa Ltd for a couple of reasons: Stephen’s timely responsiveness to our initial inquiry and subsequent bazillion questions, flexibility and willingness to guide us in planning a sensible itinerary including all 12 sites on our list, option of a private safari (only the 2 of us and a driver/guide!), safety. We were in frequent contact with Stephen right up to the minute we left home for the airport. We awoke that morning to find an e-mail from Stephen about the Nairobi airport fire and his comforting reassurance that, one way or another, our trip of a lifetime wouldn’t be compromised by this unfortunate event. True to his word, by the time we arrived, temporary buildings were in place at the airport and we landed there without any problem.
Our itinerary included Nairobi, Amboseli (at the foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro), Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Olduvai Gorge, Serengeti, Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Bogoria, Lake Naivasha and Zanzibar – and provided us with more incredible memories than we could have hoped for. Accommodations far exceeded our expectations, service and attention to our comfort was amazing, food and food choices were excellent, and both of our drivers were outstanding and so much fun! Sam Peku in Kenya (at the beginning and end of our trip) was such a joy – always smiling, great sense of humor, very attuned to our interests, aware always of our comfort and safety, and with endless knowledge about the wildlife, culture, landscape, and history of Kenya and all things safari-related. We cherish the time we had with Sam and feel blessed now to call him a friend. In Tanzania, Dawson Singo was our guide, and for many reasons, we loved the time we spent with him also. “Singo” has been guiding/driving all his life and is known and respected by many drivers. As a veteran in the business, he was expert at knowing where to find various animals and could spot them from a great distance and then efficiently maneuver our Land Rover for the best views. We have the utmost appreciation and respect for both these men and will be forever grateful for the vital part they played in our experience.
We couldn’t begin to list our most memorable experiences, but some of the highlights include several hours watching wildebeest and zebra cross the Mara River as part of the Great Migration (all but 2 arriving safely), many sightings of the Big 5, a fatal encounter between a gazelle and a hungry cheetah, picnic lunch on the shore of a hippo-filled lake, mating ostriches, a lion chasing a jackal, baby baboons and hyrax nursing, red colobus monkeys, lunch under a tree on the plains of Masai Mara, trying to outrun a thunderstorm on the Serengeti, a baby monkey learning to climb a tree, a hot-air balloon ride over the Mara and a sailing/swimming/snorkeling dhow trip to an uninhabited island in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Zanzibar. Skyview has our highest recommendation…and then some…
“Let no one say – and say it to your shame – that all was beauty here until you came.”
Stacy Vanstone (pictured above with our driver/guide Sam) and her husband, Martin Gibler, from the US, booked a 20-day Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari between August 10-29, 2013.
My wife and I decided to go on safari for our honeymoon, and after reading many forums and googling, we found that Skyview of Africa Ltd was a reliable company to choose to ensure that this part of our honeymoon would be a success – we were not disappointed!
Stephen was a joy to deal with over email, and his recommendations really made me comfortable about creating the itinerary for the best results.
From the moment of arrival in Nairobi everything was carefully planned out for us, with excellent drivers in both Kenya and Tanzania (Sam and Sudi respectively).
Both Sam and Sudi are extremely experienced, and knew exactly what they were doing during all parts of the trip – all lodges were pre booked for us so required minimal to no effort on arrival to each place, and the game drives were excellent as they really knew exactly where to go and at what time for the best experience possible.
Above all we both felt completely safe for the whole trip – something we re slightly concerned about before going but was no issue whatsoever.
My wife fell ill right at the end of the trip, and Sam was excellent in getting her to a doctor at Nairobi Hospital and getting everything sorted before our flight to Seychelles – definitely over and above all our expectations!
I really cannot fault Skyview of Africa Ltd – all involved surpassed our expectations (which is not easy to do!) and we look forward to using them again in the future, and would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends.
Definitely a trip we will never forget! Thank you Skyview of Africa Ltd!
Priesh Kamani and his newly-wedded wife, Suzanne, from Britain, booked a honeymoon safari to Tanzania and Kenya between June 5 and 14, ending with a holiday in Seychelles.
Jambo Stephen!
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. As you can imagine, we have all returned to our busy routines, and are just now finally getting all of our many gigabytes of photos organized. Thank you again for providing us with such a fantastic and memorable trip! It truly was the experience of a lifetime! We were so impressed with every aspect of our trip and can’t say enough good things about the way we were treated and how well organized everything was.
Not only was your company, Skyview of Africa Ltd, great to deal with, but the people we met along the way in Kenya and Tanzania were a joy too – the overall friendliness of everybody was such a pleasure. And speaking of excellent people, our guide Sam was simply fantastic! As you know, we had a wide variety of interests and things we wanted to see and do (Animal Orphanage, Sheldrick Farm Trust, real live Masai villages, all the parks, scores of wildlife, etc), and Sam was able to accommodate everything – as well as put up with our non-stop barrage of questions all the time, all with good humour and a non-stop smile! Such a nice guy. His knowledge of everything was very impressive, not only of the animals, birds and plants we saw, but even for the geology of the area, which was of particular interest to the geologist in our family, Natalie. Sam is a walking encyclopedia!
As you can imagine, all of our friends here have been asking us lots of questions about our experience. Of course, the fantastic variety and quantity of wildlife we saw is of great interest to everybody, as well as our great impressions of the people and accommodations we experienced. However, one thing that I find myself repeating over and over again is how useful it was to have a guide. In most of our previous travels elsewhere, we have not used a guide, but for this trip it truly was the best way to go.
Sam, and his Tanzanian colleague Paul, always kept us safe by knowing what roads were best to travel on, quietly keeping an eye on us at the busy markets, helping us out at the border crossings, were able to speak to the local people on our behalf, handled all the park entrances for us, knowing the local customs, not getting lost in the maze of roads, knowledge of animals, birds, plants, rocks, etc, but most of all – being able to spot wildlife that we never would have seen otherwise. These guys really do have “eagle eyes”, and their ability to spot things from a great distance and then get us on the right path over to see it closer was really impressive. Without them, we really would have missed a lot.
Anyway, I know I’m rambling on a bit here, but I could go on for hours. You guys have far surpassed our expectations, and truly given us what we call a “bucket list” trip of a lifetime. We highly recommend you to all of our friends, and we ourselves will dream of returning again someday. Kenya and Tanzania are wonderful places.
Susan Rouette and her children John Rouette, Natalie Hachey, Sharon, Chris and Olivia Urquhart, from Canada, outside the gate of Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The family booked a 15 days Kenya and Tanzania safari between February 3-17, 2012.
As I had told you before, this was our first trip to Africa. The staff of Skyview of Africa Ltd and those of all the lodges and hotels we stayed in were great; friendly and hospitable. We were greatly impressed by great choice of accommodation – Mara Serena Lodge, Serengeti Serena Lodge and Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. To crown it all, we spent 3 amazing nights at the fabulous Stanley Safari Lodge in Victoria Falls. We got value for our money for our honeymoon and more than we had bargained for.
Karol Scott and her husband Jeff, from USA, booked our Kenya, Tanzania and Victoria Falls between November 14-28, 2011.
Skyview of Africa Ltd was really able to offer us the trip of a lifetime. My husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon. The wildlife and beauty of Kenya are not to be missed. Our tour guide, Sam, was excellent and ensured that we were able to see as many animals as possible. Food, service, and accommodations were also fantastic. We were very impressed, especially considering the remoteness of some of the locations. We would highly recommend Skyview to anyone who wants to make the most out of their safari adventure.
Michelle Blanchet and her husband, from Spain, booked a honeymoon safari to Kenya and Seychelles between August 18-September 2, 2011.
Stephen: On behalf of my 14 year old daughter and myself I would like to thank Skyview of Africa Ltd for arranging a memorable vacation in Kenya and Tanzania. Our itinerary was great, the guides definitely knew their respective countries and we saw the Big Five and then some on more than one occasion. Thanks again for your great efforts….the Chasins
Scott Chasin and his daughter from United Sates of America booked a 16 day Kenya and Tanzania safari between August 9-24, 2011.

This was our first safari in Africa and as promised by Stephen and the rest of the Skyview of Africa Ltd team, it definitely did not disappoint us. Prior to booking our safari, like so many other travelers we were unsure of what company to choose. The most important factors to us were reliability, safety/security and price. We narrowed our choices down to Skyview of Africa Ltd and another company. I wanted to go with Skyview while my partner wanted to go with the other company. It was an argument that almost tore our friendship apart. In the end, she chose to trust me and I chose to trust Skyview because of the honesty, sincerity and forthcoming nature that Stephen displayed. We were ensured that this was the absolute lowest cost possible while maintaining the quality of our safari. Now that our safari has come to an end I can honestly say that his words were 100% true.
We are so thankful to Skyview of Africa Ltd and especially thankful to our driver/guide (and now friend) Sam Peku. He was absolutely wonderful in every way. Sam was knowledgeable about simply everything. He provided us with information about everything around us, and was so good at reading us that he got to the point where he wouldn’t speak too much about things he figured we had little interest in. Sam ensured that we got to see everything that we wanted to see, and we actually saw all of the big 5 in the first 2 days! In addition, Sam knew the perfect angles to put the vehicle at so that we would get perfect pictures. I can’t imagine a safari without him (even though I’m sure that all of the other drivers/guides of Skyview of Africa Ltd are just as good). He provided us with the perfect balance of friendly conversation and quietness; the perfect balance of a feeling of security while maintaining space when dealing with individuals trying to sell or trade goods and crafts. Thank you Sam….for EVERYTHING. Our Safari with Skyview was an unforgettable one created by true professionals who were ready and willing to address ANY issues we may have had.
We highly recommend Skyview of Africa Ltd as the tour company of choice. The most important attribute that Skyview possesses is quality of service. This cannot be made up for with fancy Land Rovers or elaborate marketing schemes. They have what we all want…good people that actually care about you and your experience. We are avid travelers, always in search of the beauty that this world has to offer. Thank you Skyview, Stephen, Sam and all others that had a hand in creating and organizing what was the most beautiful and humbling of all experiences.

We had a wonderful experience during our honeymoon and everything from Kenya up to Seychelles was intricately down to the finest detail. Constance Ephelia Resort in Seychelles was a fantastic choice and a honeymoon paradise for us. A big thank you to the entire Skyview of Africa Ltd team for helping us realise a very successful honeymoon holiday.
Camilla and her fiancée, Mike Charlwood, from Canada, booked our Kenya, Tanzania and Seychelles honeymoon holiday between June 18 and July 3, 2011.
Absolute full marks go to Skyview of Africa Ltd. When Deb and I contacted Stephen for information regarding a request for a most intensive Safari opportunity during the two week Holiday season in December, he came through with the best package one could hope for – a complete comprehensive tour plan, with all the lodge bookings, (through the busiest time of the holiday season). Our personal expert guide Sam Peku made our trip safe and stress-free, with his wildlife knowledge we were fortunate to see all the “BIG 5”, and many other majestic animals and birds of Africa. If you are considering a Safari in East Africa, please contact Skyview of Africa Ltd. as your best bet for a “TRIP OF A LIFETIME”!!! We did and loved it.
Deborah and her husband, Derek Lalonde, Canadians – now living in Kuwait City, Kuwait – booked a Kenya safari between 18 Dec 2010 – 01 Jan 2011.

My husband and I wish thank Skyview of Africa Ltd and wonderful team for putting together an exciting honeymoon safari in Kenya and Tanzania, ending with a holiday in Victoria Falls. It was an amazing experience we’ll cherish for the rest of our lives. We were particularly impressed with your choice of Serena lodges and Stanley Safari Lodge. We truly enjoyed the intimacy and warmth of these luxurious lodges. We’ll highly recommend your company to our friends and colleagues. We’ll definitely come back to African for another safari. Expect us again. Thank you so much again.
Karen Schnell and her husband, Paul Newton, from Britain booked a Kenya, Tanzania and Victoria Falls honeymoon safari between Dec 13-28, 2010.
Stephen, as I had indicated to you earlier, this was our first holiday to Africa and we only knew about Africa from what we had read in the internet when researching for the best places to do our African safari. Although we had sent out safari requests to several tour operators in Africa and America, Skyview of Africa Ltd – in particular you (Stephen) – highly impressed us by putting together an exciting itinerary with great choice of lodges in both Kenya and Tanzania as well as Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel in Zanzibar and your timely responses to our emails and your wide and rich knowledge of the safari and lodges you were offering us. We also pay special tribute to our tour guides Richard Pulei in Kenya and Hamisi Harisi in Tanzania for ensuring a free flow of the itinerary by ensuring we were right on time in arriving in our every next destination and their wealth of knowledge of African wildlife. Your price for the safari was the most competitive and we enjoyed every penny. To be frank with you, our marvelous holiday exceeded our expect ions and dreams.
Andy Scott and his wife, Judy, from Texas in the USA booked a Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar safari between Dec 11-27, 2010.
We had an amazing experience on our safari throughout Tanzania and Kenya. From our guides, to the accommodations, everything was wonderful and we appreciated the smoothness of checking in and out of the hotels and lodges and how friendly everyone was to our group. Skyview of Africa Ltd put together this amazing trip for us and we all agree that it was the trip of a lifetime . . . We would so highly recommend your services to any who inquired . . . since we’ve been home, friends ask us what was the highlight of your trip? I can’t seem to come up with an answer except to say, everything!

This was by far the most amazing trip we anticipated. Thank you so much for making this trip so worthy in terms of our cash and experience. We visited a Manyatta village in Masai Mara and had a wonderful time learning the culture and dances of the Maasai tribesmen. Victoria Falls adventure was quite amazing and was worth every penny we paid for the safari. Your driver/guides and the African people we came across were extremely hospitable. Our itinerary had a great combination of culture, game drives and adventure. Thank you for giving me and my friends a holiday of a lifetime. We got more than we expected.
Amee Gujarat and his 4 friends from India booked a Kenya-Tanzania-Victoria Falls safari between Aug 8-30 Aug 2010.
We had a great time in Serengeti and Masai Mara. But the most enjoyable part of our safari is our overnight in Treetops Lodge in the Aberdares as we watched wild animals at the water-point under floodlights. We have amazing photos and will never forget this trip. Kudos to you and your firm for put together a great travel package for me and my wife. We knew about the amazing Africa from what we read on the internet what we saw on TV – but thanks to Skyview of Africa, we know it like our finger tips.
Prof Richard Michigan and his wife Paula from Chicago in America booked a Kenya and Tanzania safari between 25 July – 6 Aug 2010.
We planned our trip to Africa purposely to witness the extraordinary trek of wildebeests. We were not only lucky to come across the herds but our patience on the banks of Mara River paid off when the beests arrived and took the amazing plunge into the crocodile-infested river. Your guides in Tanzania and Kenya are incredibly experienced and have an uncanny ability to spot even the tiniest of animals, so that we didn’t miss anything in the survival of the fittest in the African jungle. Sam ensured we were at the Mara River at the right time and we owe the crossing sighting to him. Thanks for making our dream come true.
Jonathan Power and his wife Suzie from Canada booked our 14 Days Migration Safari Tanzania & Kenya hot seller between 3-16 July 2010.
Stephen, your timely, well-informed, candid and insightful responses to all my queries left me with no doubt that you have a good mastery of African tourism and you have great passion for your job. Other tour operators I had contacted, alongside your company, took long to respond to my queries and some answers left serious doubts about the services they offered. Your patience amazed me and gave me confidence I was dealing with a worthy travel agent. As we boarded our departure flight at Zanzibar Airport on the last day of our holiday, I was glad we picked you to plan our African safari. Once again, thanks for putting together a detailed and informative itinerary with a superb selection of lodges. Our wonderful stay at Ras Nungwi Beach Hotel in Zanzibar cupped the happiness and fulfillment of a great holiday.
Rita Dominic and her husband, Hezron, and their 3 children from America booked a Kenya-Tanzania-Zanzibar safari between 20 June- 4 July 2010.
This was our first safari to Africa. We carried rich memories about your great country and your great company and members of staff back home. We are glad we settled to your company from the choice of five other operators, three being international travel agencies.
Jesus Ignacio and her six family members from Spain booked a Kenya safari (Amboseli-Tsavo West-Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary-Mombasa) between 27 March and 05 April 2010.

I just wanted to write and tell you what a fantastic time we had on our safari with our guide Sam Peku. It was truly an awesome experience. Sam is an amazing guide. He was very professional, personable, and worked very hard to make sure that we had a great time. He even went out of his way to guide us out of Nairobi once we picked up our car.
Kenya is a beautiful country, and though some may say that its greatest resources are its animals and national parks, I would argue that Kenya’s greatest resource is its people. Thank you for all of your efforts on our behalf. We couldn’t have chosen a better way to start our honeymoon.
Megan Hirons Mahon booked a honeymoon safari to Kenya’s Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru between August 26 – 30, 2009
My wife and I highly recommend using the travel services of Skyview of Africa Tours & Safaris Ltd. When we were planning our safari from the United States, we contacted a number of local travel agencies, as well as a few international ones. Not only did Skyview provide the most comprehensive and responsive customer service but they gave us far better flexibility and affordability than any of the other agencies.
Skyview’s Managing Director, Stephen Muiruri, personally responded to every one of our emails within 24 hours and put together a top-notch Kenyan safari, including a week-long excursion to Zanzibar, at a much more affordable price than his competitors.
My wife and I have already recommended Stephen to a number of our friends and relatives. Our dream safari wouldn’t have been realised without our able guide Sam Peku.
Having lived in the Middle East and having traveled to over fifty countries, I can say from experience that Skyview’s customer service is the best in the business. From the minute I contacted Stephen with our proposed itinerary to the time we were on the ground in Kenya, we felt comfortable and confident with our decision to use Skyview. As for the safari itself, I highly recommend to all those interested in a life-changing experience, book an African safari through Skyview Ltd.

I want you to know that we had the BEST time. It was a fantastic trip. Sam was a GREAT driver/guide. I would recommend him to anyone. Our visit to Victoria Falls at the Stanley Lodge was the perfect ending. Every arrangement worked out perfectly.
I will recommend you to everyone that asks about our experience. We could not have asked for a better “safari” experience or a better introduction to African wildlife.

Valentina and I couldn’t be more satisfied of the service you gave us, we are both surprised of your knowledge of the territory and animals in the masai mara and of the whole area around. We had great time with Richard, professional, friendly, thanks you him we actually did a very good “TEAM SAFARI”. Having said that, I talked to Richard, I promised that we will advise any of our friends to choose your service!
Davide Manunta and his girlfriend, Valentina, booked a safari to Kenya’s Masai Mara between August 18-21, 2008
When I proposed marriage to my fiancée, I thought it would also be a great idea to give her an additional surprise – we go for a honeymoon safari to enjoy the famous gorillas of Uganda and Rwanda. Initially, she never liked the idea. Later on, she reluctantly agreed when I convinced her that the safari would be so fantastic as none of us had ever seen the primates. Thanks to the great safari you planned for us, my newly-wedded wife is now full of praises of the great adventure we had in the land of the gorillas and you have saved my new marriage and the love of my life! Keep up your good work Skyview and your able team. Antonio

Thank you for organising an unforgetable and enjoyable two and a half week Safari.
Using a local Kenyan company we were not only able to support Kenyan enterprise, we got a personal custom designed holiday with our own van and driver for the same price as a standard package in a shared van from a European Tour Operator.
For us there is no comparison.

We have to thank Mark (the tour consultant) for the arrangement. He followed up closely and politely, which gave us the confidence to work with your company.

I had a great time on my safari weekend. Thanks so much Skyview of africa for your efficient arrangements.
The Sarova Mara hotel was wonderful – the food was great and plentiful, the service very kind and solicitous. The game drives were outstanding. Our dirver, William, was first on the scene of a python squeezing a jackal to death with the jackal’s partner circling in distress. It was amazing.
Best regards,
Anne Castleton.USA
Dear Stephen,
We had a great adventure in Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar. Zanzibar was truly a perfect choice for us to relax and enjoy the Indian Ocean waters. I and my wife will definitely recommend your company to our friends.

Donald Kaczyński from Poland and his group of 8 climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in April 2008.
Our trip to Africa was awesome. In particular, we liked the tour of Robben Island and the jail that was for years the home of Nelson Mandela. Stephen, everything went perfectly as planned to our great satisfaction. Wish you good luck. Regards.
David Homes and three others from the US visited Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa in May/June 2008
It was a wonderful holiday. I and my husband have previously made two safaris to Africa through other tour operators. But the holiday you organised for us in South Africa was the loveliest holiday we have had by far. Thanks very much for all your efforts in putting it together.
