The Dan Eldon Place of Tomorrow<\/h4>

It was set up as a living memorial to Dan Eldon, a Reuter\u2019s photojournalist who was killed in Somalia in 1993 while covering the tragic events in that country. The Depot, located near Rowallan Scout Camp, Nairobi, is a capacity building and training facility, a human resource development consultancy with wide experience in programmes related to cultural transformation, strategic planning, institutional development and team building. It is an experience that develops a new sense of power and optimism.<\/p>

Elsamere Conservation Centre<\/h4>

Elsamere Conservation Centre is a haven for lovers of nature, set in Acacia forest on the banks of Lake Naivasha, in Kenya\u2019s Great Rift Valley. It is the former home of the late Joy Adamson who, together with her husband George, became world famous for their pioneering conservation work and relationship with the Lioness Elsa, as told in her best-selling book and subsequent film: Born Free. The center provides accommodation for 15-18 people in cottages set in the gardens around the main house.<\/p>

Malewa Wildlife Lodge<\/h4>

Malewa River Lodge, in Kigio Wildlife Conservancy, is nestled by a bend in the river in the Great Rift Valley and lies between GilGil and Naivasha. A small and exclusive 5 cottage \u201ceco-friendly” lodge, nestled in the shade of huge Acacia trees on the banks of the Malewa River. The Malewa Wildlife Lodge has 4 river front tree suites and one family cottage with two rooms all with en suite bathrooms and amenities \u2013 total of 5 rooms.<\/p>

Only 1.5 hours drive from Nairobi, the protected Kigio Wildlife Conservancy is home to Malewa River Lodge and sanctuary for both the endangered White Rhino and the Rothschild Giraffe. A good base for visiting Lake Nakuru, the lodge is a more exclusive bush home type property than one of the Nakuru lodges.<\/p>

Alliance Naro Moru River Lodge<\/h4>

This is the base for climbing Mt.
