SVAKT 003: 15 Nights/16 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari: Samburu Aberdares Lake Nakuru -Masai Mara Serengeti Ngorongoro Lake Manyara Tarangire

Day 1: Nairobi

Our Kenyan representative will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to Panafric Hotel where accommodation will be on bed and breakfast only.

Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu

After breakfast, depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through central Kenya and north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving Samburu Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives till sunset.

Meal: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Day 3: Samburu

Full day in Samburu, a beautiful and game abundant park, home to
rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 4: Samburu – Aberdares

After breakfast, depart for Aberdares National Park. Arrive at Outspan Hotel in Nyeri for the 1330hrs transfer to Treetops Lodge. The Treetops Lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick which attracts a host of awesome wildlife at night and tourists view the wildlife from the balcony of their rooms or lodge verandah.

Day 5: Aberdares – Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, a representative of Tree Tops Lodge will transfer you back to Outspan Hotel where you’ll reconnect with your driver/guide and depart for Lake Nakuru with a brief stop at Nyahururu Thompson Falls. Then proceed to Lake Nakuru. Lunch at Flamingo Tented Hill Camp. Afternoon game drives in the park. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

After breakfast depart for Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. Masai Mara Game Reserve has a high concentration of wildlife and outstanding scenic views. Afternoon game viewing drives.

Day 7-8: Masai Mara

Full day game viewing in this typical savannah country a well-known site for various wildlife movies. Optional visit Manyatta villages where Masai tribesmen live to learn their culture and dance. You’ll pay USD30 per person per visit to the village.

Day 9: Masai Mara – Serengeti

After breakfast, check out with packed lunch and depart for Serengeti via Isabenia border. After being helped in the immigration desk, you will be handed over to our Tanzanian driver/guide and proceed to Serengeti to arrive late in the evening. Game drives en route the lodge.

Day 10: Serengeti

Full day in Serengeti. Morning and afternoon game drives in the rolling grasslands studded with wildlife for as far as the eye can see National reserve. All meals and overnight at Serengeti Sopa

Day 11: Ngorongoro

Breakfast and check out. Drive to Ngorongoro with game drive en route in Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge. Arrive for lunch at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge. Afternoon leisure.

Day 12: Ngorongoro

After breakfast descend down to the crater floor for ½ day crater tour. Later return to your lodge. Afternoon leisure.

Day 13: Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Lunch at Kirurumu Tented Lodge and then afternoon game drives. The park is famous for its rare-tree climbing lions and birdlife.

Day 14: Lake Manyara – Tarangire

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park. Lunch at Tarangire Sopa Lodge and then afternoon game drives till sunset.

Day 15: Tarangire

Full day game drives at Tarangire National Park.
