SVAKT 001: 9 Days Kenya Tanzania Safari: Lake Manyara, Serengeti Ngorongoro Amboseli

Day 1: Nairobi

Our Kenyan driver/guide will receive you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to Panafric Hotel for overnight. Accommodation based on bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Nairobi – Arusha – Lake Manyara

Our driver will pick you from Panafric Hotel and transfer you Marangu Luxury Shuttles in the CBD to catch your Nairobi-Arusha shuttle, departing 0800hrs and arriving at 1300hrs. Our Tanzania driver/guide will pick you from the terminal and drive to Impala Hotel to pick lunch boxes. Depart for Lake Manyara National Park for the afternoon game drive. The park is famous for its rare tree-climbing lions and bird life.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti

After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park with game viewing en route in the Serengeti. Lunch at Serengeti Sopa Lodge and then set off for afternoon game drives in the park till sunset.

Day 4-5: Serengeti

Full day game drives in Serengeti National Park on the wildebeest migration trail. (Option, depart for full day carrying lunch boxes or morning game drives, return to lodge for lunch and then afternoon game drives).

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro

After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Crater, via Olduvai Gorge archaeological site. Arrive at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half day of game drives.

Day 7: Ngorongoro – Arusha – Amboseli

After breakfast, drive to Namanga via Arusha (collect lunch boxes). After being helped in the immigration desk, you'll be handed over to our Kenyan driver/guide and drive to Amboseli National Park. After checking into, Amboseli Sopa Lodge, set off for afternoon game drives in the park till sunset.

Day 8: Amboseli

Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. You'll have an option to visit Maasai villages to learn their culture and dance. The Masai dancers charge a fee and you'll pay this directly if you opt to go there. Visit Masai Village in the evening to learn their culture and dance (at a cost of USD35 per person per visit and you'll pay this directly to the Masai Village).

Day 9: Amboseli – Nairobi – Depart Home

Check out of your lodge at 1000hrs and depart for depart for Nairobi. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your international flight home.
