16 Days Kenya, Tanzania, Victoria Falls & Chobe Safari

This African safari helps you explore the unrivalled wildlife, natural beauty and cultural diversity of Kenya, Tanzania and Chobe in Botswana, including a trip to the magnificent Victoria Falls – the world’s largest waterfall.

Day 1: Nairobi, Kenya

Our Kenyan representative will receive you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you in a tourist safari van to Panafric Hotel where accommodation will be on bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Nairobi-Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru with a stop over at the view point of the Great Rift Valley for photographing. Lunch at Flamingo Tented Hill Camp. Afternoon game drives in the park. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru-Masai Mara

Depart Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara Game Reserve after early breakfast. Arrive at Mara Leisure Camp in time for lunch. Later proceed for the afternoon game drive until sunset in search of the Big Five and wildebeests crossing the Mara River.

Day 4: Masai Mara

Optional morning balloon flight. Balloon flight crew will pick you from your lodge and take you for a balloon flight and bring you back. Link up with your driver/guide and continue with day long game drives in the park. (Full day game drive is an option with packed lunch)

Day 5: Masai Mara

Spend the whole day in the Masai Mara plains doing game drives and also on the look out for herds of wildebeests crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River. Options: Depart for full day carrying packed lunch or return to lodge for lunch and then set off for afternoon game drives. Optional evening visit to a Masai Manyatta Village to learn the dance and culture of the Masai tribe.

Day 6: Masai Mara-Serengeti

This is your last day of your safari in Kenya. You will check out of your Mara lodge with packed lunch and depart for Serengeti via the Isabenia border. After being helped with immigration formalities at Isabenia town, the Kenya-Tanzania border point, you’ll be handed to our driver/guide and proceed to Serengeti to arrive late in the evening. Game drives en route your lodge.

Day 7-8: Serengeti

Full day game drives in Serengeti. Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world is a large national park in Serengeti area, Tanzania. It is most famous due to annual migration of over one million white bearded wildebeest and 200,000 zebra to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve in search of pasture.

Day 9: Serengeti-Ngorongoro

After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro with game drive en route in Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge. After checking into Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, descend into the crater for a half day tour with lunch boxes. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard. Return to the lodge in the evening for overnight.

Day 10: Ngorongoro-Lake Manyara

After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara National Park. Lunch at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge and then set off for afternoon game drives. The park is famous for its rare tree-climbing lions and bird life.

Day 11: Lake Manyara-Arusha

Morning game drives in Lake Manyara and then return to your lodge for lunch. After lunch, depart for Arusha Town. Transfer to Impala Hotel for afternoon rest and overnight.

Day 12: Arusha-Nairobi-Lusaka-Victoria Falls (Zambia)

After breakfast, we’ll transfer you to Kilimanjaro International Airport to catch your Precision Air/Kenya Airways KQ6723 E departing to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 0600hrs. Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta Airport at 0700hrs. You will then connect Kenya Airways Flight KQ 722 X departing Nairobi at 0825hrs and arrive at Lusaka Airport at 1145hrs. You will connect Proflight Flight P0 0708 to Livingstone Airport. Flight departs at 1500hrs and arrive 1610hrs.

A representative of Stanley Safari Lodge will receive you and transfer you to their hotel where accommodation will be on full board in family suite to accommodate the 4 of you.

Day 13: Victoria Falls

You can book full day activities at Victoria Falls. Activities include white water rafting, river boarding, tandem kayaking and bungee jumping as well as sightseeing flights over the falls by helicopter, fixed-wing aircraft or micro light.

Day 14: Victoria Falls-Chobe

A representative of Muchenje Safari Lodge will pick you from Stanley Safari Lodge for your road transfer to their lodge in Chobe. Enjoy 2 nights at Muchenje Safari Lodge in the Chobe National Park, overlooking the Chobe River. Activities here include unlimited game activities; walking safaris, river cruise, night drives and village trip.

Day 15: Chobe

Game drives at Chobe National Park. You’ll carry out any of the above activities you didn’t accomplish the previous day.

Day 16: Chobe-Livingstone-Johannesburg

After breakfast, a representative of Muchenje Safari Lodge will transfer you by road to Livingstone Airport to catch your 1315hrs South Africa Airways Flight SA 049 to O.R Tembo International Airport in Johannesburg. Arrive at Johannesburg 1505hrs. You will then take your international flight home.
