Day 1: Nairobi
Our Kenyan representative will receive you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you in our safari van to Nairobi Serena Hotel where accommodation will be based on bed and breakfast only.

Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu
Depart Nairobi and drive through central Kenya and north across the equator to Samburu National Reserve arriving Samburu Serena Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives.

Day 3: Samburu
Full day in Samburu, a beautiful and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Morning and afternoon game drives with an optional visit to a local Samburu village to learn the culture of the Samburu community (You’ll pay USD30 per person).

Day 4: Samburu – Mt Kenya
After breakfast, depart Ol Pejeta Conservancy located in Mt Kenya region. Lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp. You can do day and night game drives around the private conservancy, which is home for the members of the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard). The conservancy has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park and is one of only four private game conservancies to have been founded in Kenya. At the forefront of the Kenyan conservancy programme, the conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, hosts the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, and shelters large numbers of rare and endangered species.

Day 5: Mt Kenya – Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru with a brief stop at Thomsons Falls in Nyahururu. Lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Camp followed by game drives in the park, famous for flamingos and the rare white rhino and leopard.

Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Maasai Mara
After breakfast, depart for Maasai Mara – the land of vast migrating animals. Arrive at Mara Serena Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch embark on game drives.

Day 7: Maasai Mara
Full day game drives in Masai Mara plains in search of the Big Five.

Day 8: Maasai Mara – Nairobi – Depart Home
After breakfast, drive to Nairobi via the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Stop at the Rift Valley View Point to view the escapement and the Mount Longonot in the background and photographing. Continue with journey and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your flight home.
