Day 1: Nairobi

Our Kenyan representative will receive you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you in our safari van to Panafric Hotel where accommodation will be based on bed and breakfast only.

Day 2: Nairobi – Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, depart for Nairobi via the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Stop at the Rift Valley View Point to view the escapement and the Mount Longonot in the background and photographing. Check in at Lake Nakuru Lodge and then depart for game drives in Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is famous for its flamingos and the rare white rhinos and leopards.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

Breakfast and then depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve via the magnificent scenery of the Great Rift Valley. Lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge and then depart for afternoon game drives.

Day 4: Masai Mara

Full spent exploring the stunning Masai Mara scenery and in search of the ‘The Big Five’ – Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffalos and Rhinos. Besides these ‘Big 5’ there are many other wild animals and every single one is incredible to watch. They include the Giraffes, Zebras, Hippos, Baboons, Wildebeests, Warthog, Antelopes, Gazelles and different Bird species.

Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Every day stake out on the Mara River in look out for wildebeests as they amass in their thousands at banks of the river. The watch the climax of the migration journey that started in Serengeti, Tanzania. Each day is a constant challenge of survival. There are battles on the plains; with hyenas, lions, leopards, cheetahs and other predators on the prowl. And then there are the massive jaws of seemingly prehistoric crocodiles that patrol Mara River, waiting for their yearly feast to come.

The river crossing is treacherous as giant crocodiles lie underneath the water as the herds take the plunge of death. Those which escape the jaws of the crocodiles encounter fresh dangers as all kinds of predators lurk in the plains ahead, offering the most challenging battles of life and death and a race for the survival of the fittest.

Optional evening visit to a Masai Village to learn the dance and culture of the Masai tribe (it will cost you $35 per person and this is paid directly to the village).

Day 5: Masai Mara – Nairobi – Depart Home

After breakfast, depart for Nairobi. Stop at Panari Hotel in Nairobi for lunch. Later, you’ll be transferred to the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your international flight home.
