SVAH 005: 11 Nights/12 Days: Kenya Tanzania Honeymoon Safari
This Kenya Tanzania honeymoon safari takes you to Amboseli, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru.
Day 1: Nairobi
Our Kenyan representative will receive you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you in our safari van to Panafric Hotel where accommodation will be based on bed and breakfast only.

Day 2: Nairobi – Amboseli
After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park. Lunch at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. The lodge is the only one in Amboseli which gives tourists the best view of the snow-capped Mt Kilimanjaro at dawn. Afternoon game drives in search of herds of elephants, giraffes, lions, and a variety of other animals and birds.

Day 3: Amboseli
Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. You’ll have an option to visit Maasai villages to learn their culture and dance. The Masai dancers charge a fee and you’ll pay this directly if you opt to go there. Visit Masai Village in the evening to learn their culture and dance (at a cost of USD35 per person per visit and you’ll pay this directly to the Masai Village).

Day 4: Amboseli – Lake Manyara
After breakfast, drive to Namanga border point Kenya and Tanzania. Our Tanzania representative from will receive at the border point and take you to Arusha Town collect lunch boxes then drive to Lake Manyara National Park for the afternoon game drive. The park is famous for its rare tree-climbing lions and bird life.

Day 5: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro
After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Crater and arrive at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. After lunch, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half day of game drives.

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Serengeti
After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park, via Olduvai Gorge archaeological site, with game viewing en route in the Serengeti.

Day 7: Serengeti
After breakfast depart for a whole day of game drives in the Serengeti National Park on the wildebeest migration trail.

Day 8: Serengeti – Masai Mara
After breakfast transfer to Isebania border carrying lunch boxes. To be picked from the Isebania border by our Kenyan guide and continue with safari to Masai Mara Game Reserve. You can do game en route your lodge or drive to lodge and go for game drive after checking in.

Day 9-10: Masai Mara
Spend the whole day in the Masai Mara plains doing game drives and also on the look out for herds of wildebeests crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River. Optional evening visit to a Masai Manyatta Village to learn the dance and culture of the Masai tribe. (You’ll pay USD35 per person per visit directly to the village)

Day 11: Mara – Nairobi – Lake Nakuru
Depart the lodge soon after breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru via Nairobi. Lunch en route followed by late afternoon game drives. Dinner and overnight stay at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp
Lake Nakuru’s claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo’s and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of the at times millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the black and white rhino. Lions, waterbuck, buffalo and baboons are all residents here.

Day 12: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi – Depart Home
After breakfast depart for Nairobi via the floor of the Great Rift Valley. Stop at the Rift Valley View Point to view the escapement and the Mount Longonot in the background and photographing. Continue with your journey to Nairobi. Stop at Panari Hotel in Nairobi for lunch. Afterwards transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your late afternoon/ evening flight home.
