Day 1: Nairobi
Our driver/guide will receive you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to Southern Sun Mayfair Nairobi where accommodation is on bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Nairobi – Amboseli
After breakfast at your hotel, depart for Amboseli National Park. Lunch at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. The lodge is the only one in Amboseli which gives tourists the best view of the snow-capped Mt Kilimanjaro at dawn. Afternoon game drives in search of herds of elephants, giraffes, lions, and a variety of other animals and birds till sunset.

Day 3: Amboseli
Full day game drives in the Amboseli plains. Today, you will do morning and afternoon game drives, with lunch breaks. Be on the look out for herds of elephant, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and the rare and the elusive Leopard. Amboseli is the home to the legendary Masai tribesmen and you have an optional evening visit to a Masai Manyatta cultural village to learn their culture and dance.

Day 4: Amboseli – Lake Manyara
After breakfast, drive to Namanga – border point Kenya and Tanzania. After being helped by our Kenya driver/guide at the immigration desk, you will be handed to our Tanzania driver/guide and take you to Arusha Town collect lunch boxes then drive to Lake Manyara National Park for the afternoon game drive. The park is famous for its rare tree-climbing lions and bird life.

Day 5: Lake Manyara – Ngorongoro
After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Collect lunch boxes at Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge and then descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half day of game drives. Return to your lodge in the evening for overnight.

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Serengeti
After breakfast drive to Serengeti National Park, via Olduvai Gorge archaeological site, with game viewing en route in the Serengeti. Lunch at Seronera Wildlife Lodge and then set off for afternoon game drives in the park till sunset.

Day 7: Serengeti
Full day in Serengeti. Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world is a large national park in Serengeti area, Tanzania. It is most famous due to annual migration of over one million white bearded wildebeest and 200,000 zebra to Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Reserve in search of pasture.

Day 8: Serengeti – Masai Mara
After breakfast transfer to Isebania border carrying lunch boxes. After being helped at the immigration offices at the Isebania border by our Tanzania driver/guide, you will be handed over to our Kenya driver/guide and continue with safari to Masai Mara Game Reserve. Masai Mara Game Reserve has a high concentration of wildlife and outstanding scenic views. Game drives en route the lodge.

Day 9-10: Masai Mara
Spend the whole day in the Masai Mara plains doing game drives and also on the look out for herds of wildebeests crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River. Options: Depart for full day carrying packed lunch or return to lodge for lunch and then set off for afternoon game drives. Optional evening visit to a Masai Manyatta Village to learn the dance and culture of the Masai tribe. (You’ll pay USD35 per person per visit directly to the village)

Day 11: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru. Lunch at Flamingo Tented Hill Camp. Afternoon game drives in the park. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.

Day 12: Lake Nakuru – Samburu
After breakfast, depart for Samburu National Reserve. Brief stop at Thomsons Falls. Arrive at Samburu Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives till sunset.

Day 13: Samburu
Full day in Samburu, a beautiful and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. The reserve is also home to the Big Five – lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo.

Day 14: Samburu – Nairobi – Depart Home
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi. Lunch at Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi. Nairobi city tour followed by transfer to the famous Carnivore Restaurant in Nairobi for dinner. Later transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your evening international flight home.
