SVAFP 005: 5 Nights/ 6 Days Mt Kenya Samburu Masai Mara: Kenya Flying Safari
This Kenya flying safari starts at Wilson Airport in Nairobi and takes you to Mt Kenya, Samburu and Masai Mara and Amboseli. This Kenya safari offers you accommodation at Mt Kenya Safari Club, Samburu Serena Lodge and Mara Serena Lodge.
Day 1: Nairobi – Mt Kenya
A driver of Skyview of Africa Ltd will pick you from your Nairobi hotel/Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to Wilson Airport to catch your flight to Nanyuki airstrip in Mt Kenya. You’ll be met at the airstrip by a driver of Mt Kenya Safari Club and transfer you to your hotel. The club offers sweeping views across the plains to the majestic slopes of the magnificent snow and glacier-capped Mt Kenya – Africa’s second highest peak after Kilimanjaro. Originally the retreat of movie star and club founder William Holden, the club provides a unique blend of comfort, relaxation and adventure. Set in over 100 landscaped gardens the mood is one of quiet elegance. The lavishly appointed dining rooms provide wonderful meals. A fine Golf course and a heated swimming pool are on site whilst other activities include: fishing, half-day trips to Mt Kenya, nature walks, Chuka drummer displays, animal orphanage visits, and breakfast by the river. There are many things to do around Mt. Kenya, including hiking in the foothills where waterfalls and wonderful views abound. Horse riding and white water rafting can be arranged.

Day 2: Mt Kenya – Samburu
After breakfast, a driver of Mt Kenya Safari Club will transfer you to the Nanyuki airstrip to catch your flight to Samburu Game Reserve. You’ll be met at the Samburu airstrip by a driver of Samburu Serena Lodge who will transfer you to their lodge. Wild and rugged, Samburu is fiercely beautiful with its arid savannahs watered by the lovely Uaso Nyiro River. After lunch, set off for afternoon game drives in Samburu Game Reserve.

Day 3: Samburu
Morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu Game Reserve. Samburu is the home to the legendary Samburu tribesmen and you have an optional evening visit to a Samburu Manyatta cultural village to learn their culture and dance.

Day 4: Samburu – Masai Mara
Breakfast and then set off for morning game drives. Return to your lodge for lunch. A driver of Samburu Serena Lodge will transfer you to the airstrip to catch your flight to Masai Mara Game Reserve. You’ll see stunning aerial views of the Great Rift Valley and wildlife grazing in Masai Mara plains. You’ll be met at the Masai Mara airstrip by a driver of Mara Serena Lodge and transfer you to their lodge. After lunch, set off for afternoon game drives in Masai Mara Game Reserve. Overnight at Mara Serena Lodge.

Day 5: Masai Mara
Morning and afternoon game drives, with lunch break at your lodge. Spend the whole day in the Masai Mara plains doing game drives and also on the look out for herds of wildebeests crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River. Masai Mara is the home to the legendary Masai tribesmen and you have an optional evening visit to a Masai Manyatta cultural village to learn their culture and dance.

Day 6: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
After breakfast, a driver of your Mara Serena Lodge will transfer you to the airstrip and fly back to Wilson Airport, Nairobi. A driver of Skyview of Africa Ltd will pick you from Wilson Airport and transfer you to your Nairobi hotel/Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
