Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Day 1: Nairobi
Our Kenyan representative will receive your family at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi and transfer you to Panafric Hotel where accommodation is on bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu
Our driver/guide will pick you from your hotel at 0630hrs and depart from Nairobi to Samburu Game Reserve, arriving at Samburu Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives till sunset.

Day 3: Samburu
Full day in Samburu, a beautiful and game abundant park, home to rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Morning and afternoon game drives in the vast national reserve.

Day 4: Samburu – Mt Kenya
After breakfast, depart Ol Pejeta Conservancy located in Mt Kenya region. Lunch at Sweetwaters Tented Camp. You can do day and night game drives around the private conservancy, which is home for the members of the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard). The conservancy has a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park and is one of only four private game conservancies to have been founded in Kenya. At the forefront of the Kenyan conservancy programme, the conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa, hosts the only chimpanzee sanctuary in Kenya, and shelters large numbers of rare and endangered species.

Day 5: Mt Kenya – Aberdares
After breakfast, depart for Aberdares National Park. Arrive at Outspan Hotel in Nyeri for the 1330hrs transfer to Treetops Lodge. The Treetops Lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick which attracts a host of awesome wildlife at night and tourists view the wildlife from the balcony of their rooms or lodge verandah.

Day 6: Aberdares – Lake Baringo
A representative of Treetops Lodge will transfer you back to Outspan Hotel where you’ll have your breakfast and reconnect with your driver/guide and depart for Lake Nakuru with a brief stop at Thompson Falls in Nyahururu. Proceed to Lake Baringo. Lake Baringo is the threshold of Northern Kenya, and its freshwaters are an oasis in the arid plains. After lunch, rest in the hotel or take a boat ride and cross to Baringo islands for a short walk in the forest (boat can be booked at the lodge and price not included below). You can see hippos in the lake from the boat.

Day 7: Lake Baringo – Lake Bogoria
Check into your camp on – the Jewel of the Great Rift Valley. Lake Bogoria, also known for the hot sulphur water gushing out of the grounds, is the exact definition of nature’s version of bath and Sauna. Here you will be able to see the Woodland Kingfisher, Northern white-headed buffalo weaver, Rufous crowned roller, etc. Dinner and overnight by the lake

Day 8: Lake Bogoria – Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Nakuru. Lunch at Flamingo Tented Hill Camp. Afternoon game drives in the park. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.

Day 9: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara
After breakfast depart for Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch at Mara Sopa Lodge. Masai Mara Game Reserve has a high concentration of wildlife and outstanding scenic views. Afternoon game viewing drives till sun set. Optional evening visit to a Masai Manyatta Village to learn the dance and culture of the Masai tribe. (You’ll pay USD35 per person per visit directly to the village)

Day 10-11: Masai Mara
Spend the rest of the day in the Masai Mara plains doing game drives till sunset.

Day 12: Masai Mara – Amboseli
After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. After lunch at Amboseli Sopa Lodge, set off for afternoon game drives till sunset.

Day 13: Amboseli
Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. You’ll have an option to visit Maasai villages to learn their culture and dance. The Masai dancers charge a fee and you’ll pay this directly if you opt to go there. Visit Masai Village in the evening to learn their culture and dance (at a cost of USD35 per person per visit and you’ll pay this directly to the Masai Village).

Day 14: Amboseli – Nairobi – Depart Home
After breakfast, depart for Nairobi. Arrive in Nairobi in time for lunch.
1230hrs-1400hrs: Lunch at New Rangers Restaurant
Lunch at New Rangers Restaurant. The restaurant is located at the Nairobi National Park main gate. The restaurant’s Twiga Terrance offers a perfect view of wild animals grazing and drinking water at Kisima water hole just 10 metres away as you enjoy your lunch.
1400hrs-1545hrs: Bomas of Kenya
After lunch, you depart for Bomas of Kenya, a tourist village in the nearby Lang’ata suburb. Bomas (meaning homesteads) displays traditional villages belonging to the several Kenyan tribes, aimed at promoting Kenya’s rich cultural diversity of her 42 tribes. You’ll tour traditional villages for a series of tribal cultural shows entertainment.
1600hrs-1800hrs: Giraffe Center
Afterwards, depart for the Giraffe Center located near Hardy Shopping Centre in Nairobi’s Lang’ata suburb. The visit gives you a completely up close and personal interaction with giraffes and you will be allowed to feed them. You feed giraffes by hand, take a guided nature walk and see a bull in the wild if you’re lucky, learn about the different types of giraffes.
1800hrs-2000hrs: Carnivore Restaurant – Airport
Depart Carnivore and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch your international flight home.
