Day 1: Nairobi

Our Kenyan representative will receive you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to Panafric Hotel where accommodation is on bed and breakfast.

Day 2: Nairobi – Masai Mara

After safari briefing, depart Nairobi for Masai Mara Game Reserve through the Great Rift Valley. Make a brief stop to allow you view the Rift Valley and take photos. Arrive at Mara Serena Lodge in time for lunch. Later proceed for the afternoon game drive until sunset in search of the Big Five.

Day 3: Masai Mara

Full day of game drives in Masai Mara plains and on the look out for herds of wildebeests crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River till sunset. Optional evening visit to a Masai Manyatta Village to learn the dance and culture of the Masai tribe. (You’ll pay USD35 per person per visit directly to the village)

Day 4: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, depart Mara for Lake Nakuru. Lunch at the Flamingo Hill Tented Camp followed by an extensive afternoon game drives in the park. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru – Samburu

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru with a brief stop at Nyahururu Thompson Falls. Then proceed to Samburu National Reserve arriving at Samburu Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives till sunset.

Day 6: Samburu

Full day in Samburu, a beautiful and game abundant park, home to
rarely found species such as the Beisa Oryx, Grevy’s zebra, blue-necked Somali ostrich and reticulated giraffe. Morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 7: Samburu – Aberdares

After breakfast, depart for Aberdares National Park. Arrive at Outspan Hotel in Nyeri for the 1330hrs transfer to Treetops Lodge. The Treetops Lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick which attracts a host of awesome wildlife at night and tourists view the wildlife from the balcony of their rooms or lodge verandah.

Day 8: Aberdares – Amboseli

After breakfast, a representative of Tree Tops Lodge will transfer you back to Outspan Hotel where you’ll reconnect with your driver/guide and depart for Amboseli National Park via Nairobi. Stop at Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi for lunch. Proceed to Amboseli Serena Lodge. Afternoon game drives till sunset.

Day 9: Amboseli

Full day game drives in Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 10: Amboseli – Tsavo West

After breakfast, you’ll depart for the vast wilderness of Tsavo West, Kenya’s oldest and largest park. Lunch at Kilanguni Serena Lodge. Afternoon game drives exploring the park where we can expect to see elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, kudu, zebra and hartebeest.

Day 11: Tsavo West – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Breakfast and then drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Arrive at Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge, located in the heart of the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary off Voi town, before lunch. All rooms overlook a waterhole and are linked by suspended walkways. At night, the waterhole is floodlit ensuring that guests enjoy an uninterrupted view of the daily procession of thirsty wildlife that comes to water at the waterhole.

Day 12: Taita Hills – Mombasa

After breakfast, drive down to the Kenyan Coast. You have been booked at the Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort; the largest beach resort hotel on Bamburi beach. There is a clean exotic flavour to white sands, yards of cool white marble, rows of arches and a wonderful use of water. There is an attractive wide beachfront with lawns and tall palms. The hotel also offers a wide variety of watersports. Accommodation on Half Board.

Day 13-14: Mombasa

Relax on your own at the Indian Ocean beach.

After breakfast, a representative of Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort will transfer you to the Moi International Airport for flight to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to connect your international flight home.
