This Amboseli Tsavo safari with a Mombasa holiday for your Kenya beach holiday combines a wildlife safari in Amboseli and Tsavo West and Tsavo East national parks with a beach holiday in Mombasa and Malindi.

Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli

Our driver/guide will receive you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Safari briefing and then depart for Amboseli National Park. Lunch at Amboseli Sopa Lodge. The lodge is the only one in Amboseli which gives tourists the best view of the snow-capped Mt Kilimanjaro at dawn. Afternoon game drives in search of herds of elephants, giraffes, lions, and a variety of other animals and birds.

Day 2: Amboseli

Full day in Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives. You’ll have an option to visit Maasai villages to learn their culture and dance. The Masai dancers charge a fee and you’ll pay this directly if you opt to go there. Visit Masai Village in the evening to learn their culture and dance (at a cost of USD30 per person per visit and you’ll pay this directly to the Masai Village).

Day 3: Amboseli – Tsavo West

After breakfast, drive to Tsavo West National Park with game drive en route to arrive at Kilanguni Serena Safari Lodge in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives with a visit to also Chyulu hills.

Day 4: Tsavo West – Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Breakfast and then drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. Arrive at Sarova Salt Lick Game Lodge, located in the heart of the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary off Voi town, before lunch. All rooms overlook a waterhole and are linked by suspended walkways. At night, the waterhole is floodlit ensuring that guests enjoy an uninterrupted view of the daily procession of thirsty wildlife that comes to water at the waterhole.

Day 5: Taita Hills – Mombasa

Breakfast and morning game drive. After lunch, drive down to the coast and drop you at Baobab Beach Resort & Spa at Ukunda, South Coast. Accommodation at Baobab Beach Resort & Spa will be on half board.

Day 6-7: Mombasa, Ukunda

You spend the days at the beach sunbathing or engaged in the numerous water sports that are available including: – Scuba diving, snorkeling, wind surfing, big game fishing and deep sea dive. Activities are at your own cost.

Day 8: Ukunda – Malindi

After breakfast, a representative of Baobab Beach Resort & Spa will transfer you to Ukunda Airstrip to catch your flight to Malindi. A representative of Turtle Bay Beach Resort will receive you at Malindi Airstrip and transfer you to their hotel.

Day 9-10: Malindi

Spend the day on the beaches or take a Dolphin watch/Marine National park tour.

Malindi is at the centre of a strip of idyllic tropical beaches offering the visitor a range of world class resorts and quiet relaxing hideaways. Further south, the sleepy village of Watamu is fronted by wide white beaches.

Dolphin watch/Marine National park tour, Depart – 07.00hrs and Return – 10.30hrs, take a boat out with the local boat owner’s organization beyond the reef to look for dolphins. Afternoon, visit to Vasco da Gama pillar which is situated on the seafront road near the jetty. It is accessed from Scorpio Villas or alternatively from the Silver sands area. The pillar is one of the oldest remaining monuments in Africa and was built in 1498 by the great Portuguese explorer, Vasco da Gama as a sign of appreciation for the welcome he was given by the Sultan of Malindi

Return to the hotel in time to relax and have dinner. (All above tours and transport organized by the hotel
