Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Our driver/guide will receive you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Depart Nairobi for Masai Mara Game Reserve through the Great Rift Valley. Make a brief stop to allow you view the Rift Valley and take photos. Arrive at Mara Serena Lodge in time for lunch. Later proceed for the afternoon game drive until sunset in search of the Big Five.

Day 2: Masai Mara
Spend the whole day in the Masai Mara plains doing game drives and on the look out for herds of wildebeests crossing the crocodile-infested Mara River. Optional evening visits to Masai cultural village to learn their culture and dances. Each visit cost USD35 per person and you pay this directly.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
After breakfast, depart Mara for Lake Nakuru. Lunch at Sarova Lion Hill Camp followed by an extensive afternoon game drives in the park. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approx 400 other species of birds visiting the lake. Also, many species of game can be found in the park including the introduced Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhino, waterbuck, reedbuck, lion, buffalo, leopard, baboon and many species of plains game.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Aberdare
After breakfast, depart for Aberdares National Park. Arrive at Outspan Hotel in Nyeri for the 1330hrs transfer to Treetops Lodge. The Treetops Lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick which attracts a host of awesome wildlife at night and tourists view the wildlife from the balcony of their rooms or lodge verandah.

Day 5: Aberdare – Nairobi – Zanzibar
After breakfast, a representative of Tree Tops Lodge will transfer you back to Outspan Hotel where you’ll reconnect with your driver/guide and depart for Nairobi. Stop at Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi for lunch. Transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to catch the 1600hrs Kenya Airways flight to Zanzibar. A representative from Serena Zanzibar Inn will pick you from Zanzibar International Airport and transfer you to their hotel, where we will accommodate you in a room of your choice on half board (breakfast and dinner).

Day 6-9: Zanzibar
Days spent sunbathing and relaxing in the white sand beach resort. Optional excursion to Stone town, Prison Island, Spice tours, Sunset cruises, snorkeling, scuba diving or boat trips can be arranged at an extra cost.

Day 10: Zanzibar – Nairobi – Depart Home
A representative from Zanzibar Serena Inn will transfer you to Zanzibar Airport to catch the Kenya Airways flight to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, then connect your international flight home.
